Ima N. Charge
started leasing apartments and has become a veteran
Property Manager with a focus on the professional
development of her team and leadership by example.
Her motto is “You can delegate authority, but you
cannot delegate responsibility!” |

Lisa Lotte
was everyone’s favorite server at a neighborhood
café until the day someone gave her the best tip
ever: a business card that read “If you’d like to
make a career change, give me a call!” and she’s
been Howitz-Dunn’s top Leasing Professional ever
since. Her motto is “The three most important words
in real estate may be location, location, location;
but in leasing, they’re follow-up, follow-up,
follow-up!” |

Seymour Leeses
graduated from Hard-Knox University’s program in
Property Management and earned his stripes leasing
up several new-construction communities before being
promoted to Multi-Site Manager. His favorite words
in the entire English language are “waiting list.”

Al Fixit,
Howitz-Dunn’s most senior Service Technician
Supervisor, graduated from MIT (the Maintenance
Institute of Technology) where he broke new ground
with his Theory of Retention Relativity, summarized
R=gr1, or “Retention equals getting it right the
first time.” |

Justin Thyme
was an activities director on a large cruise ship
before discovering an unfortunate tendency toward
chronic seasickness. He prefers Resident Service
Management because, all the pool parties
notwithstanding, apartment communities do tend to
stay put. A trend-watcher and a trend-setter, he has
a true talent for adding the most timely,
cutting-edge services that make his communities a
better place for residents to call home. |

Marc Ketting
always felt his creative talents were
wasted in his previous job, designing boxes for a
pizza delivery chain; and then one day he ordered
one of his company’s own pizzas for lunch. When the
box arrived—with his logo design completely obscured
by a flyer advertising a fabulous new apartment
community—he quit on the spot and applied to become
the new Marketing Director at Howitz-Dunn. Says
Ketting, “Once in a while, I still use pizza boxes …
but now I know my work is always on top!” |

Ed U. Cashen
has a plaque in his office that reads “If you give
someone a fish, you feed them for a day; but if you
teach them to fish, you feed them for a lifetime.”
He applies that philosophy by making sure the
members of his team have both the tools they need to
get the job done, and the knowledge to use them
well. Since he became Howitz-Dunn’s Director of
Training & Development, productivity and employee
retention have doubled; and that’s no fish story! |
