A Mentee is someone who is guided by a Mentor to further develop their professional career. To make the most of this relationship, it’s important that the Mentee be proactive in communicating to the Mentor what he or she wants to achieve. Our program is designed to provide Mentees the opportunity to learn from those with the highest levels of experience in our business, while building lasting relationships that will exceed the timeframe of any planned agenda. Successful Mentee/Mentor relationships are built on trust and loyalty, and the best way to foster that is for both participants to be honest and direct with one another and to honor all agreements. It is important to note that a Mentor shouldn’t be thought of as an expert whose role it is to tell the Mentee what to do; but rather as a partner in the relationship, sharing their knowledge and the benefits of their own work experience.
